The DS-like COMP computer you get in Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor summons demons and tells you when one of your allies is nearing their final hour. Time management is key as players spend their thirty (game) minute intervals searching for information and battling demons.
Nich Maragos, the Editor of Devil Survivor, explains each choice has a consequence and hints you may have to pick who lives and who dies. (What no recarn?) Big decisions like these make Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor a game I looking forward to playing.
While the trendy kids in Tokyo setting is reminiscent of The World Ends With You, there are more areas to explore in Devil Survivor. A screenshot shows players will have a chance to travel through Shibuya (this is where TWEWY is set), Shinjuku, and Harajuku. Huh. I wonder if Idea Factory’s main office is a secret location.
