It is obvs The Real Big Boss the girl big boss from MGS3 its goin to be about her for shure cuz when he did the rising game he still had big boss pics flashing so its goin to be about the 2 big bosses how they were together.

I say its from the game "Snatcher" a game that game out in 88 by Kojima. This mask being the face of a bioroids. Kojima made comments before about bringing back an old game. I could almost bet that it is this game.

Ive never played any other kojima game besides mgs (which i have to say im a great fan of the entire saga), and i dont know anything about snatcher, but this looks like a new ip.

Maybe is a survival horror game or something like that.

Looks like the animation layers for the Mask. Anyway I doubt it's Lord of the Shadows. The HTML tags say MASK just as the HTML tags on the NEXT site state metal gear. Kojima has 3 games in the works. One targeted at Japanese audience, which he states in Famitsu is what the Metal Gear one is. One is targeted at western audiences, which is what Lord of the Shadows looks like... and there is also a PSP game in the works that the KP report said is something new. Mask could be it!

My first thought was Fatal Frame 4, but that has nothing to do with Kojima, and is already out.

@DeeDee: Yes, it's definitely ridiculous for us fans to hope that all of this hype is for something new and exciting. It's totally ridiculous for us to check out this count down and try to figure out if Hideo Kojima is trying to convey a message. It's totally ridiculous for us to check back on the timer every once in a while. Either that, or you're just a dick, but I cannot for the life of me figure out which. Any links to a teaser site for that?

A new Metal Gear is hardly something new, though, is it? Also, it's one thing to be excited about something, but to actually rip apart a Flash movie, take out all the images, and make it out to be something that it's not is clearly insane.

Let's not forget all the speculation about what 'April 2007' meant - only for it to be revealed that the new website was a carbon copy of the Grindhouse one, and they left the date in by accident.

Perhaps, it's not me that's the dick, becuase I'm not the one spending my life looking at a clock counting down only to reveal yet another countdown. Just wait until it's revealed first, eh?

I think that everyone looks into Kojimas stuff a bit too much. All that this will be are individual instances of the mask that make up the whole animation. That's the way that it is done in Flash. Nothing sinister or untoward about it.

Honestly, the whole Kojima thing is getting ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised if he does things like this on purpose just to watch you all go crazy. His next game will probably be something to do with jumping bunnies, but he wants to watch you all fall over yourselves trying to figure it out.

They look nothing like any MGS-related mindfucks that Kojima put out in the past.

Perhaps the supposed Lords of Shadow game is being developed in tandem with the new MGS?

All you've "revealed" is each frame in an animated glowing effect for either versions of the mask.

i was just about to say that. there aren't any "faces" here. put them all together and it makes it look like the light is flickering on it. stfu. and this one HAS NOTHING TO DO with mgs. when have you people EVER seen anything like this in an MGS game? it looks like its an ancient mask. i don't know what lords of shadow is but it's probably that... or Snatcher
