Final Fantasy XIII Slated For Spring 2010

A Final Fantasy XIII was demo shown with English voice acting. Odin was revealed as a summon. The demo had new menu options like “Assault”, “Radial Strike”, and spells “Ruin” and “Ruinga”.

    So the porting/localization has already started? Makes sense I guess. Spring 2010 360 release means we'll see the Japanese version by this winter at the latest. I think I might import the JP PS3 release, then get the 360 version when it releases here.

    Always good to see Final Fantasy XIII news. I hope they work long and hard to make the 360 port the best it can be.

    I think that's what I'm doing too. I can't wait for the Jpn release on PS3. When it comes here I can play it again in Eng and to get the achievement :)

    Here's a Gametrailers video. HD is decent enough to make out some details. You can see the left bumper and X buttons from the Xbox controller in the user interface. Looks like it is running smoothly enough. I'm impressed that S-E has already got this much up and running on the 360.

    Perhaps it isn't as surprising. Honestly, the more I think about it, they have a lot more experience with the 360 than PS3 though. What I want to know is, how many discs? :)
