Here’s Final Fantasy XIII With English Voice Acting And Odin

By Spencer . June 1, 2009 . 10:02pm

If you watched the Final Fantasy XIII demo this fight should be familiar, but for the first time you can see it with Lightning and Sazh speaking English. (Thanks for the tip Hello Hello!!)

Other small details in the command menus is a special attack for Lightning called “Radial Strike” and those explosions that look like fire spells are actually “Ruin” magic. Not sure if this is another name for Fire and Firaga or if this is something new. Ruin spells were not in the Final Fantasy XIII trial edition. Lightning can also chain four attacks instead of three like in the demo.

At the end Lightning summons Odin and it appears she can control him similar to calling a summon in Final Fantasy XII.

you think they will add other voices? like Japanese etc. I wish more countries localized games (like some of the minor games i have seen) so that they will be included in the voice tracks. it’s always fun to listen to diff languages and even play with them on. i used to, although not a minor game, do this on JAK2 since it had massive amount of voice tracks ranging from spanish to korean.
