This Trademark Sounds Related To Final Fantasy

sqlightSquare Enix’s E3 lineup is out. They announced two new games and almost all of the Square Enix trademarks we researched are accounted for. Except this one.

Hikari no Yon Senshi was registered in Japan. The name translates to The Four Warriors of Light, which sounds like a subtitle for an upcoming game or possibly a manga.

Four light warriors? That reminds me of the very first Final Fantasy game…

  • Kaoro

Well, whatever happened to that FFXIII: Haeresis (no clue how to spell that) trademark we saw a while ago? I always assumed that would be the name of the next MMO they make.

  • Mazen

The name fits for a game more than manga many RPGs have a party of four, it could be related to Dragon Quest.
or it could be for something like Hanjuku Hero its been years since they made a game for that franchise they may want to give it a visit..

  • Serge73

I’m still desperately hoping for a Chrono sequel…but the trademark doesn’t sound related at all…

  • MadMirko

    Smash Brothers clone.

  • lostinblue

2 new games… one by cavia and a virtua-on clone usurping the Front mission name… and nothing for the Wii? total fail.

    when will these idiots learn?

    • 50 Cent

Square’s core audience likes to play real games, instead of silly waggle-stick gimmicks.

      • lostinblue

Square’s core audience likes real square games, not turd made by cavia and virtua on stuff using the front mission name.

        See what I did here?

Stop being an ass, Wii deserves better support from Square-Enix, and that has nothing to do with other platforms.

The fact people ask for it prove there’s people that want it; how’s that for a “core audience”? jeez, some people are still on the “I’m HARDCORE I DON’T WAGGLE” phase, who cares? not me.

  • Reminds me of that zelda game , four swords
