Is Taito Making A Lost Magic Sequel?

image Takt of Magic is a spiritual successor to the Nintendo DS game Lost Magic. Since Takt is complete Garakuta Studio might be working on a true sequel to Lost Magic.

A trademark found in Japan’s trademark database suggests one is in development. Taito registered the rights to Lost Magic: Shouryu no Kyousoukyoku (loosely Lost Magic: Concerto for the Fallen). The first game didn’t have a subtitle so this discovery appears to be a new entry in the Lost Magic series.

how are the chances of takt of magic making it over here looking?

    • 50/50. Sales in Japan weren’t great and Nintendo didn’t bring it to E3. They showed off games like Span Smasher which aren’t even dated for Japan. Since Takt was done Nintendo should have brought it along.

On the other hand Glory of Hercules isn’t coming out next year so Nintendo may not have started localizing it.

If its a direct sequel, than I hope it gets over here. I wonder what ending it’ll be based on if it matters.
