If you're heavily biased against the 360, then I can see how you would think that.

Namco's been bringing the themes/gamerpics to the 360 alongside the Japanese releases. The HOME content is just like that: it's a soda machine with Idolm@ster SP (the PSP version of Idolm@ster) logos, and sometimes you get a mask and clothes of Haruka to dress up your freaky virtual avatar with.

I don't think Namco Bandai is going to bring over the series yet (or ever), but it's interesting that they highlighted The Idolm@ster over other PS Home goods.

Ah, that is true. I was wondering if they were testing that to see how many people actually take up that offer. I was really hoping that would take off well enough, and I know I was telling everyone and their grandmother to try it out.
Damn, and I was about to jump on my keyboard and blast to “Colorful Days”, but not just yet!

I would still stay IM@S is picking up steam, though.

For the record, Namco also sold Idolm@ster gamerpics on the US 360 marketplace at least a year ago.

I wouldn't exactly take it as a sign that they're willing to try the game outside of Japan... *shrug*

I'm sure they're very aware of the serie's potential here, just as much as they're aware of the huge backlash that would follow. These virtual items are harmless and diehard fans will snap them up without second thoughts, so it's a good business move.
