Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is over a year old in Japan, but the game is such a smashing success Capcom and Sony are still promoting it. Two new PSP-3000 bundles featuring carnival colors and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite are scheduled for July 23.

Each package comes with a PSP-3000 in either Radiant Red or Vibrant Blue, a copy of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite with budget PSP the best packaging, an AC adapter, and a battery pack. A memory stick, which is required to save game data is not included. The package costs 21,000 yen ($210). A standalone PSP-3000 goes for 19,800 yen ($198), which makes bundle a decent deal if you’re hunting for a Monster Hunter Freedom starter pack.

However, with over two million copies of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite sold in Japan and the PSP Go coming a few months it’s hard to imagine this bundle being a big seller. A Monster Hunter themed PSP Go with a digital copy of the game might be a better a promotion.
