imageSquare Enix’s multiplayer action RPG, Blood of Bahamut, is also the esper/eidolon/aeon cameo RPG. Gilgamesh joins Shiva and Ifrit as the latest Final Fantasy summon monster crossover.

In Blood of Bahamut Gilgamesh is a metallic warrior with six swords and six arms to break. Square Enix announced a new hero with Gilgamesh. Len is a swordsman who lives on Gigant, the first and so far only colossal creature not related to Final Fantasy.

  • Thus far, all of these guys have been huge... I wonder what they are really?

Really looking forward to the game. Excellent graphics, and on the DS. Yay =D
  • Seriously, if there's one thing you can say about Square, it's that they've mastered pushing the hardware of the DS. I can't wait for them to start developing DSi-exclusive games. Those are probably going to look even better!
  • Maybe there's a crazy twist that all of the summoned monsters are figures in some Final Fantasy fan's home...

I'm suddenly all the more anxious to pick up this game, if only to find out what was going through these guys' heads when they decided, "Hey, building a home on top of a huge metal guy with six swords sounds like a genuinely good idea."

(And, more importantly, how many of them decided to pitch a tent on Shiva. HEYO!)
  • Yeah, seriously! And it's not like the heroes are that small either...
