Definitly, though I still felt Monster Hunter was a much more solid game overall. It also brought it's fair share of unique stuff to the table though. While it's certainly similar to PSO in some respects, it does a damn good job standing apart and I personally feel it's a better game. I've played both PSO (well, now I play psobb) and MH for a very long time now. Tried Phantasy Star Universe online version, DID NOT like that game. The weapon synth crap is horrible. Though I here the PSP version doesn't have it, the PC pretty much ruined it for me to the point I really don't want to even try. Anyhow, this God Eater game looks like such a blatant rip-off that, at the risk of sounding like a fanboy, it's offensive. It doesn't help I really hate this kind of look either.

Heh, yeah. If the weapons were less enormous, I'd have though this was a multiplayer SMT game.

Which I would go nuts for, by the way.

The scan's color may be washed out so it looks like that. We'll have to wait for proper screenshots to tell for sure.

You know one could argue Phantasy Star Online was a precursor to Monster Hunter since the games are very similar. Monster Hunter added technical controls and ad-hoc PSP play, but it certainly wasn't the first loot collecting RPG on consoles.

Why you put Peace Walker on the same wagon?,is not even an RPG and Monster Hunter did not create Co-op gameplay,Its only that since Monster Hunter RPG Co-op for a portable made such a big success other companies are doing the same,I dont see a reason to complain as long as the games are good.

Undead Knights looks mediocre though..
