God Eater Preys On Monster Hunter With A Slick Trailer

I know God Eater is probably going to be like Monster Hunter, but I’m psyched for it after seeing this movie. The art style and morphing chainsaw sword oozes with coolness. It’s hard to tell because this is a trailer, but God Eater looks faster paced than Monster Hunter too. Perhaps, this PSP game is a mix of loot collecting, Shin Megami Tensei, and stylish action games like Devil May Cry.

God Eater comes out in Japan this fall and it could fill the Monster Hunter needs for PSP Go users if Namco Bandai releases it as a digital download. A North American release hasn’t been announced, but the first trailer has a lot of English…

cool, I think I will get this.
I can justify killing to protect the world I just cannot justify killing a helpless elephant type creature so I can BBQ it(like in Monster Hunter)

I think the weapons should be a little bigger though. those weapons should be at least 3X the size of the charachter you control.

Damn,what a good trailer!,it does seem more fast paced than MH since they have those agility-kind-of-moves,the only thing is that they really didn't need to use the name "aegis" like PES3 xD.

Hmmmm, I'm a big MH fan but I can definitly see this doing quite well for itself. The battles look faster and the post apocoplyptic setting is sure to appeal to those who maybe aren't as into MH. I do hope though that we see more enemy types in the coming months and if they are really pushing the online for it or if it's gonna be a single player game with 4 player co op.
