Sega hasn’t forgotten about Infinite Space. PlatinumGames’ second project is being localized. One of the anime shorts created by Production I.G. already has English voice acting.

Along with the clip, Sega announced Infinite Space is on course for a spring 2010 release. The Japanese version came out last month and it topped the charts the week it came out.

    Did Famitsu review it yet?

    • ragolslayer

      Yep, they did.

9988. Lots of praise for the depth of the game. Only complaint I think was the difficulty level. Still chugging along with it myself – all I can say is thank goodness for multiple saves.

  • MadMirko

Yeah it topped the charts and Sega forgot to restock. I’ll be sure to pre-order this one, in case they feel like repeating that stunt in the west.

Oooh that’s so far away. Fortunately, there’s a “games-I’m-interested-in” drought from now until September (well, Mana Khemia 2 in August, I guess), so I should get my queue down to a respectable level before this and Sands of Destruction hit next year.

…Of course, I could be wrong. Games pop up all the time. I need a vacation.

The animation looks wonderful, and the dub voices don’t sound all THAT bad. And the music =D

On another note, this story, from the video, sounds almost like One Piece, starting out, except in space. (I like One Piece, so this is supposed to be taken in a good manner >_> )

Will look into game hopefully =DD

I can’t wait for this. I’m glad a date has been announced.

  • Hraesvelgr

Had this preordered for a while now, glad to see it’s finally getting a more concrete release date.

  • Heiae

    2010? Damn..

    I’m so excited for this.

  • jarrodand

Awesome. I hope 7th Dragon is coming right alongside it.
