You know its all fun and games until one region gets an exclusive artbook, then it's serious :P. Tetsuya Nomura is one of my favorite artists and remains as the only reason S-E is not completely talentless, but finding artbooks from him is impossible. Out of all the artbooks I have/want Dissidia is by far the one I would want the most. Nomura's art covering the entire FF series plus some of his best and my favorite designs (FF8 and FF7). Though it depends on how big the book actually is, from the looks of the pic this is a cardboard bifold box which means there is no guarantee that the game comes in a real box or that the artbook is not as small as a normal PSP game case. Still I will be watching this and contacting my favorite import shop (NCSX.com)

I think (or rather, I hope) that means it's like the Crisis Core box where everything fits in snugly. The horrible clamshell packaging for a game would be... ridiculous.

The press release lists clamshell packaging as a feature. Oh gee, I want to be able to pay extra to cut my finger off while trying to open the thing.

For once, I lucked out on having moved out here to the UK.

But I definitely agree, pre-order goodies are usually great incentives for pirates to pony up the cash for a game. I remember the punchdoll that came with Lunar 2.

Although, I do wish they'd do more separate art books based on video games. I've got the Okami one and it's gorgeous. I'd love a Fatal Frame, Layton, and Harvest Moon collection (just to name a few).

I agree. I see a book and it instantly rises on the "to pre-order" list.

Too bad it's a Europe only pre-order, I'm in North America. You'd think they would give the bonuses out in North America as well, since there are a ton of pirates over here. Some incentive to buy might, possibly, lower the amount of people who were on the fence about buying/pirating.

The world needs more video game art books. That's how they end up suckering me into pre-orders.
