Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Slices Into Stores With Starter Swag

imagePre-order Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 in Japan and you get a starter set containing a hint book, prologue comic, a visual gallery, and a code to download one of Ryu’s costumes.

Need more Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 stuff? The limited edition comes with a soundtrack CD (in a Blu-ray case!), a “metal accessory set” (these look like cell phone charms), slip case, and the starter set. A PlayStation 3 game is somewhere in the premium package too.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 retails for 7,800 yen ($81). The limited edition, which is currently for Japan only, costs 9,980 yen ($103). Both versions arrive in stores on October 1.

Even w/o the swag, the amount of extra contents (new playable characters, story, bosses) is too good to pass up alrdy. Sad thing is 360 owners who alrdy bought the game would need to buy this again, I don’t see them putting it out as DLC.. I hope we would get the LE over here w/ similar cool swags.

While I’m not sure if KoTec has officially announced a CE for the US release, Gamestop’s site does list such a product as a “Gamestop Exclusive”. However, since no details are listed, it’s hard to tell if it’ll be a cool set of bonuses like this set, or a fairly lame one like the one bundled with the first Sigma.

      • Its not the Japanese accessory set if that’s what you’re wondering, its just the guidebook and soundtrack since they had too many employees gank the stylus from Dragon Sword reserves.
