Soucalibur: Broken Destiny Burns On PSP In August

By Spencer . July 6, 2009 . 3:36pm

imageThe last press release from Namco Bandai said Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny will bring the search for the cursed sword to PSPs this summer. By “summer” Namco Bandai really meant August 27… for Japan.

That’s what the Japanese Soucalibur: Broken Destiny page says. Since Project Soul will be done adapting Soulcalibur IV for the PSP then, a domestic release shouldn’t be far behind.

Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny uses the armor crushing system from Soulcalibur IV and adds new characters to the roster like Dampierre and Kratos from God of War.

  • The western releases of Soul Calibur III and IV were actually earlier than their Japanese releases, so I don't expect we'll have to wait long for Broken Destiny. Thankfully. :P It's one of the reasons I bought a PSP.
  • Thanks for posting this news on Kombo too, I guess?
