Sega Wants You To Guess What They’re Teasing

imageSega has another countdown and it looks like it’s related to the meta-platformer Pole’s Big Adventure. What’s neat about this teaser site is Sega wants readers to guess the games’ genre and what platform it’s coming out for.

Currently, poll respondents think the upcoming project is heading to WiiWare. PlayStation 3 is in second place and DSiWare lags in third.

What kind of game will it be? Action, according to the poll. Sports is in second place (perhaps because the first two katakana could be an abbreviation sports), and RPG takes third.

Most users also think it’s going to be a baka game or stupid game. Parody trails in second and, strangely, love is a close third.

We’ll find out what the project is in ten days, if Famitsu or another magazine doesn’t reveal it first.

  • The yellow kanji up top has a woman talking when you click it
The fish makes into sushi when you click it
That Axe weapon makes music when you click it

It’s bizarre, I’m really interested now.

The smart money’s on Famitsu spoiling it.

As for my guess, I’d assume it’s yet another entry in the YOU’RE GOING TO DIE A LOT subcategory of platformers.

The last part of that sentence (I think) says “series”. I don’t know what the stylized Kanji says, but it appears in two spots: “Next ___!?” and “___ series”, which leads me to think it’s a continuation of an existing IP.
