Of Course Sega Is Working On Yakuza 4

image Sega formally announced Ryu ga Gotoku 4: Densetsu wo Tsugumono (roughly Yakuza 4: Successor of the Legend) is in development.


Nana (the movie version) star Hiroki Narimiya and Kiritani Kenta from Cyborg She are starring in the game with virtual hostesses that you can vote for.


No information about a release date, but Sega has released a Ryu ga Gotoku game once a year on the PlayStation 3 in Japan.

  • Wow, they just keep churning these games out non-stop. Never played any of them but many a good series get destroyed by yearly sequels. Reminds me the path that Mega Man took. 1-3 great, and then hit or miss until the X series and then after a couple games hit or miss again and so on. As a result, I quit MM after X5 and missed out on the Zero series while it was still hot. I got the games recently but Capcom lost several purchases from me.

    I know they’re nothing like Shenmue, but do any of the games in this series actually have that “real world” feel that Shenmue did?
