Is Armored Core a port of the old PS2 game?

Any chance of a US release you think? This seems like something Agetec would have picked up, but seeing as Sega put out AC4 I'm not sure if they're the only company who can put out the series here or not.

That's a good question…I think Spencer's more qualified to answer that question than I am, but personally, I think SEGA in a decent position to localize these titles…perhaps if they go digital?

After all, they are backing the PSP pretty strongly with Valkyria Chronicles 2 and Phantasy Star. It sounds like the kind of thing Xseed would be interested in, too, provided they were able to negotiate some sort of deal with SEGA/From Software.

Not from here. Anyhow the bigger news on this list is HOW did a DSi version of Doki Doki Majo Shinpan get to release status without a single article from Spencer!

I'm leaning no for a number of reasons. Currently, Ubisoft is the last company to work with Armored Core.

Agetec owns the rights to the English translation, so unless they do it someone else has to publish it. Recently, Agetec hasn't been publishing much except for SilverStar WiiWare games.

So, that means someone else would have to re-localize the game. Even if they did SCEA might pass on it since it's a port. Unless a company swipes up the rights to all of From's PSP ports it's not going to happen and that's going to be rough since Tenchu 3 was handled by Activision.

Do we even want to know how having a camera and better processor and sound is gonna 'enhance' the series?

Heck, I wouldn't mind seeing Puyo Puyo 7 getting some attention, regardless. I just hope the DS version doesn't somehow give off a bad first impression and doom all the other versions coming out near the end of the year.

What exactly did Famitsu give KOFXII? I heard they gave it a lower score but I have not heard what the actual score was

The series deserves another fair shot here, especially since 7 is ousting that twerp Amitie from the starring role. Maybe if we ask Atlus nicely?

I kind of regret buying the US ver. of Gears 2 since the Jpn LE has dual tracks and all the DLC map packs. Of course, I couldn't have waited a year to play the sequel.

They need to come up w/ a good EVA game instead of these Pachinko games. All we have are the “Girlfriend of Steel” PSP port and Misato newscast, heard Puchi EVA on DS was bad. W/ the introduction of Makinami Mari in the 2nd movie, there has to be a game w/ her in it right?

Still hard to say. On the Agetec forums the company mentions they will be announcing some stuff “hardcore gamers” will like by the end of this month. But this month is almost over and there is nothing yet.

They probably have something to announce related to Samurai something….

I'd like to see it come west for a change. Sega hasn't bothered with Puyo since the first Fever on GameCube (though Atlus brought Fever 2 on DS). :/
