Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky Schedules October Release

When it comes to releasing Pokemon games Nintendo doesn’t miss a beat. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky came out in Japan in April. A domestic release is planned for October 12. Untested titles like Fossil Fighters and The Legendary Starfy take much longer, sometimes even over a year to get localized.

In Explorers of Sky you are a Pokemon. Well, a kid that transformed into a Pokemon. Explorers of Sky has nineteen different Pokemon to play as, five of which are brand new. You’ll run into over 490 Pokemon while saving the world and searching for special episodes that spill secrets about other Pokemon Mystery Dungeon characters.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky also has an online rescue system just Shiren: The Wanderer. Both games were developed by Chunsoft.

More Mystery Dungeon is always welcome. Even when it’s Pokemon branded.

Goodness, I picked up Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time just last December and still haven’t done much in the game and the next one’s comin’ out already. Guess I should just shut up and be grateful it’s even being published in the States. And of course I’ll be picking it up, heh.
