Phantom Brave: We Meet Again Bumped Back A Bit

By Spencer . July 30, 2009 . 12:00pm

imagePhantom Brave: We Meet Again is on its way to North America, a week later than expected. The Wii version which, under fan request, includes Japanese voice acting has been rescheduled for August 11.

As a bonus, Phantom Brave come with an O-sleeve and a digital art disc with over 30 artwork files, 100 character illustrations, and sixty background art files.

The expanded port also has four extra chapters starring Marona, I mean Carona, a Marona from an alternate universe. NIS America informs us you can jump right into the extra content without beating Phantom Brave: We Meet Again on the Wii. But, if you played the PlayStation 2 game you’ll want to explore Phantom Isle at least one more time.

  • It’s good to hear that, if you wish, you can play Carona’s story right away. That and the digital art disc should really help lure in strategic RPG fans, even if they already owned Phantom Brave.

Regarding this game, did they at least add widescreen?

    • The graphics have are higher resolution, but I’m not sure about widescreen support. I’ll see if I can bug NIS about this.

  • That’s cool. Gonna order this with Mana Khemia II, hoping the latter doesn’t get pushed as well.
