I really hope Capcom releases a Monster Hunter Tri bundle here in the US. I would sell my Wii just for the black one, the Classic controller Pro is also a plus.

I will get his day one. Only problem is the price… I know it will be expensive, but the black Wii really adds a lot for me. I'll just use the case for my Wii, and sell the remains. I know they have awesome skins online, I just have something about official merchandise…

I'm so glad to hear this. I have tempted in buying a PSP to play this game. Xlink kai allows you play Monster Hunter Freedom online, but it appears to be too much of a hassle. I'm just going to have to play Phantasy Star on DS until then.

I sort of think Nintendo/Gamespy will supply servers for MH3's western release, especially since Nintendo's pushing to make MH3 big in the west. Which means they'll likely be free, but we probably won't get to play with the Japanese. :/

The only reason Capcom's online PS2 games (Monster Hunter, RE Outbreak 1-2, auto modellista, etc) only lasted around 3-4 years is because their provider (SNAP, formerly Seganet) shut down their PS2 service for other clients.

IIRC the free western PS2 servers ran for about 3 years. That's probably enough for most, but you bring up a good point.

I hope we'll also get a CC Pro bundle.

I sort of doubt pay-to-play pricing either, otherwise there probably wouldn't be this big a gap to the western release. Not to mention the PS2 precedent, and Nintendo taking a more active role in the western promotion.

In all honesty, I wouldn't really mind an online fee if it ensures the servers will remain active for a long time.

very nice indeed. i needs to pre order this game when i get the chance. i played the demo and its a beautiful game. i do unfortunately hate the nunchuck and wiimote control scheme. it wasn't the way i expected it to be but lucky you can use the classic controller.
