Sony’s limited edition Gran Turismo PSP-3000 is quite similar to the Piano Black model. Check out these comparison photos and see the units side by side. The Gran Turismo PSP is on the left and the Piano Black PSP is on the right.

Notice anything different? The shoulder buttons are painted titanium black and there is a GT logo underneath the X button.

This PSP is part of the Gran Turismo Racing Pack which also contains a custom pouch, original wrist strap, and a copy of Gran Turismo. Pricing for the Racing Pack was not announced. The bundle and Gran Turismo arrive in Japanese stores on October 1.

Here’s another comparison between the two units. The Gran Turismo PSP is on the left and the Piano Black PSP-3000 is on the right.

Psp is coming off as desperate, they keep coming out with so many bundles it’s ridiculous, dsi doesn’t have the many bundles and it still keeps psp’s ass

    • This post isn’t about the DS vs. PSP.

In the past few Sony posts you’ve posted asinine comments just like the one above. It’s OK to not like or even care about what Sony is doing, but express yourself thoughtfully. Add to the discussion in an articulate way or don’t say anything.

      Nope, not desperate at all.

These bundles are perfect for those who haven’t bought the portable yet and waiting for that single game that would convince them to buy a PSP. There are collectors that go for these bundles as well.

Desperate? When people see bundles, they see a deal. System + game for cheaper than buying separate. If someone was on the fence about buying a PSP, and it happens to be bundled with a game they want they will most likely go for it.

And you can get a pretty cool color to boot (maybe not this bundle, but others).

Couldn’t they have put racing stripes on it or something…?
