imageJust like the PlayStation 2 game, Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days has two voice tracks. Our copy came in and in the options menu you can switch between Japanese and English voiceovers.

Also, the downloadable content, which mostly consists of extra characters, will be available in North America too.

Additional characters in Japan include: Plenair, Almaz, Sapphire, Gig, Dark Eclair, Marona, and Ash.

Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is scheduled to come out in North America on September 8.

I don’t think I’ll get this, it looks like they changed the battle system and interface to Disgaea 3’s, which I didn’t like as much as 2…

  • Ereek

Not interested in the voice tracks, I’d rather they have focused on getting full English voices into Mana Khemia 2 than two complete tracks for Disgaea. I understand the decision, though, since Disgaea is NISA’s big seller.

    i’d buy this

I’ll be getting this on the first day, though I worry about the price on the DLC.

Glad to hear about the dual voice track though.

I just can’t justify buying this again, considering how much time I put into the PS2 version. Glad that they are keeping both voice tracks though, please keep this up NISA!

  • Honestly, the PS2 version kinda sucked for me. I played the heck out of 1 and 3. As much as I liked the story for 2, it didn’t really do much for me…especially the leveling to 200 for items and the way they pulled power leveling for statisticians. Way better in 1 and 3.

Will say if Eclair is in it…holy sheet. I did hear the possibility of Cornet too but…

  • I´ve spent to much time on the PS2 version. Getting Adell up so he could take care of Baal by himself…

Still haven´t leveled an item to 200 yet. But that is something I´ll have to postpone to the future. Sometime.

But with the new content it doesn´t make my want to get it again. I disliked Axel from the very first moment I saw him. Something about him just made me want to beat the crap out of him.

Is anyone playing part 3 for the PS3? I am wondering why my trophies aren’t showing up in my HOME item list?
