Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Awakens "This Winter"

Square Enix is moving Kingdom Hearts right along by putting Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep on deck for release.

A scan from Shonen Jump reveals the Kingdom Hearts prequel will come out in Japan “this winter”. Take that as sometime between December and February 2010… unless it gets delayed like Kingdom Hearts 358 /2 Days, which was originally slated for last winter in Japan. Roxas’ story wasn’t unraveled until May 2009.

Birth By Sleep contains new worlds based on Disney films such as Cinderella, Snow White, and now Lilo & Stitch.

Actually, I agree with this. I’m all for the more Disney focused game than the Organization 13 focused game. It was the Disney characters that made Kingdom Hearts worthwhile to me in the first place.

Why some Shonen Jump scans come out in orange and Black?.

    Sorry for the noob question.

I think that is just the print style of the magazine. Some of these Jump magazines have newspaper print sections with manga in them and then also glossy color sections.
there are some bigger and color scans for this game here:

Thanks for the response,I been wondering about that.

    • Shonen Jump magazine has glossy color sections at the front, back and for color pages. Then the newspaper print manga sections alternate in sections of yellow, orange, and green I think. I don’t know why they do it though.

Finally, an idea when this will be released. I’m really excited, it truly looks like the greatest KH yet. I’m really glad BBS has a different protagonist, Terra could very well be my favorite character in the series.

I can’t wait for more information and scans on this!

  • Wow! I never expected a Lilo & Stitch world. I can’t wait to see it.

An Incredibles world would totally make me the happiest person on earth right about now. :3

I honestly expect a delay, but nonetheless I’m excited that they’ve got it slated for winter 2010 (as long as we don’t end up waiting as long as Days is taking). I’m anticipating this game more than FFXIII.
