Fate/Unlimited Codes Goes Digital Next Week

A Type Moon title is destined for North America. Capcom will release Fate/Unlimited Codes as a digital download on September 3.

This PSP game is a fighting game with characters from Fate/Stay Night and bonus costumes from Fate/Hollow Ataraxia which were newly made for the PSP version. The download will cost $29.99, a bit high for a PlayStation Store only release, but it’s still cheaper than importing it.

If it were $20, I’d get it in a heartbeat. At $30, I’ll have to think about it…

  • Hope it does well to get the visual… *Shot*

Well I haven’t been exposed to Fate yet so I doubt this is a good place to start so I’ll download it once I watch the anime.

I will admit the price is a bit high, but once people give the game and the series a chance, they will love it. While not the best fighting game out there, the system and characters make it awesome.

The alternate costumes really impressed me, you don’t get fighters anymore that do that… They really went all out. The artwork is great too! I only wish Capcom would team up with Ecole to bring the Melty Blood series over… I don’t mind importing, but it would be a smash hit for sure.

–Wait, what’s Shirou doing in the roster?! The best he can manage against a Servant is taking a beating and getting back up for more!

$30 does sound a bit high. I like Fate/Stay Night, but I’m not too big a fan of 3D fighters. But it is tempting…
