image Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey and its demon filled dimension has over 300 types of demons, more than any other Shin Megami Tensei game to date. This batch of screens shows a handful of them, some of which you may recall seeing in Devil Survivor.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey dons its demonica suit and heads to Japanese stores on October 8.

    Very Nice. I hope Atlus announces it for NA soon

    isn’t that the same date that Persona PSP is coming out in Japan?

    I wouldn’t mind if Atlus took it’s time with this one since I still have to pick up devil survivor.

      Persona 3 Portable will be released November 1st as a launch title with the PSPgo in Japan. For all we know Atlus has been taking their sweet, sweet time with Strange Journey. The environments look beautiful, and the game sounds great so far.

        I think you misunderstood, I never doubted that Atlus put effort into this game. All I was trying to say was that I wouldn’t mind if Atlus USA took it’s time with localization because I don’t think I will have the time to get through Devil Survivor (since I haven’t picked it up yet) before Strange Journey, unless it’s released late 2010. ^^;;

        thanks for clearing up the date with Persona, for some odd reason, I have a terrible memory when it comes to numbers.

    I’m far, far more interested in this than the third release of P3. Here’s to hoping it isn’t another Nine.

    I hope they bring back the hot, scantily clad Angels. The Angels in the two most recent MegaTen games just didn’t do.

      Thumbs up for that comment. Humorous AND true. Though if they don’t, I won’t be terribly upset. Disappointed, maybe, but not upset.

    Getting such an old-school SMT vibe off of this one. It’s pleasant!
