This generation has been really backward and everytime I buy a game that "could" get ported later I always am left holding the bag. I blame MS and its stupid 6 to 12 month exclusivity bs for most of the "re-buys" I have had to do (Eternal Sonata, Ninja Gaiden 2, Bioshock, Tales of Vesperia) but now I wait it out, that way if it gets ported I pick that up and spend 60 instead of 120, or if it does not get ported I pick it up on the cheap months later. The only downfall is thats not really good for smaller companies like Ignition or Marvelous as it screws up the sales of a title, and does little to cement that I want all consoles to go back to the way it was lat gen, where the worst we had to deal with was licenced movie games. Which compaired to what is on the shelf for Wii at my local store, makes those movie games look like Shadow of the Colossus. Yeah I know, but here is why I hesitate. I do try and be as selective as possible(with all my consoles)as my end goal is to have a collection for each that has no filler or impulse buys, that way I have only the games I really like and my collection stays manageable. I have been playing since I was 5 and have had everything (save a few) since the Master System, and I got tired of always having 40+ games at the end of a lifecycle that in reality I only really liked about 15 of. My Wii collection consists of, Klonoa, Mario Galaxy, RE:Umbrella Chronicles, Smash Bros., House of the Dead 2&3 (only because it was $20 and I dont keep my Dreamcast hooked up) 34 games huh?
