You Can Import Your Old Character In Phantasy Star Portable 2

image But, only your custom designed character. Levels, meseta, collection of monomates, and precious hours spent building your character in Phantasy Star Portable won’t transfer into Phantasy Star Portable 2.

That makes sense since there wouldn’t be any reason to collect loot in Phantasy Star Portable 2 if you stared out with top notch gear. Players that import a Phantasy Star Universe character get a bonus, the exzam weapon from the start.

Producer Satoshi Sakai revealed the data transfer feature in a Fun! Fan! Phantasy Star Portable 2 video where the girl “newscaster” looks like she stepped out of Space Channel 5. See some footage of the game and Sakai’s snazzy suit on the official site. OK, we give up here’s a look at his suit.

That’s fair, especially with online play and all–it’d be intimidating to see a bunch of level sixty-somethings running around already on release day.

nah, it says only custom designed character but the items would carry on from the 1st which you can bash your favorite SEED creatures from the start.

  • Hexen

    huh? that’s weird.

it says here that the characters on the 1st one cannot be imported to the 2nd?

    • You can transfer your characters likeliness, the custom design you made (hair color/gender/name/etc.), but not any of the parameters you earned by playing the game like levels and so forth.

I watched the full video and I can’t wait for PSP2! But I don’t understand much Japanese (yet). Can someone tell me what the bonus UMD is with PSP the Best?

    • It’s a UMD video disc that goes through the PSU series and has a trailer for PSP2.

I hope you keep your clothes too….I don’t see a problem with keeping your clothes too.
