Like MGS4, there won't be. Custom lip movements are made for the Jpn and English version respectively, so no more awkward pauses like FFX to fit the mouth flaps.

yes, mostly games and movies. blu-rays are really expensive out here. square-enix games here you can buy new or wait for them to hit their 3000yen sweet price used(which usually goes up after the initial rush of trade backs slows down). I dont like buying used but I also dont like paying more than 6500yen for a game.

for CDs, you could use iTunes Japan maybe? Or do you prefer the physical packaging?

So you live in Jpn and order from the US sometimes? I really don't mind slower shipping if it means saving a couple of bucks. Amazon Japan used to have the cheapest air mail option for 900 yen, but EMS is mandatory now for better tracking I guess. I used to order DVDs or soundtracks from Amazon Jpn, but now I just use CDJapan for that stuff, and games from PA/YesAsia or NCSX in NY.

Love rilakkuma, next best thing to tarepanda :)

I think shipping is cheaper from US to Japan than the other way around. I tried sending my friend some kapibara-kun and rilakkuma stuffed animals and it was ridiculously priced. But I sent my CD collection(very very stupidly) to Japan from US and remember it being not that expensive.

also, when I order games and blu-rays from Amazon US I think it is like $7. so, if I have no US trips planned and cannot wait for something, it isnt that bad.

Maybe play asia is the best option? I bought the US version of Assassins Creed and had it sent to Japan and I think possibly it was no charge for shipping but terribly slow.

I wish Amazon would sell games overseas, but then the new shipping they implemented now is at least 2000 yen by EMS, kind of canceling their discount, while shipping in Jpn is free.

That's indeed a lot… really put a dent in my wallet.. I imported FF12 on day one and it was like $90, didn't even like the game :(. And MGS4 LE was around $110 and it was worth it. Wonder if they're doing any LE, but price would be ridiculous.

it seems to be around 8000yen on Amazon Japan which is usually a little cheaper than Bic and Yodabashi. So, it really is expensive. Bayonetta was 8000 suggested but is around 6300 on Amazon.
