Lost Magic Sequel Announced… For Mobile Phones

As we surmised in June, Taito is working on another Lost Magic game. Unfortunately, Lost Magic: Concerto for the Fallen is for cell phones.

This game takes place in the same world as Lost Magic and you play a fresh magic school graduate on a quest to become a wizard. While there are an increasing number of phones with touch screens, Lost Magic: Concerto for the Fallen doesn’t have a rune drawing system. Battles are in real time and players select spells by pressing numeric keys to draw runes.

Lost Magic: Concerto for the Fallen also has a community feature where users can read news, trade items, and exchange familiars.

Taito is also releasing the game for free, but data fees may apply depending on your carrier.
