Lost Magic Sequel Announced… For Mobile Phones

By Spencer . September 9, 2009 . 4:09am

image As we surmised in June, Taito is working on another Lost Magic game. Unfortunately, Lost Magic: Concerto for the Fallen is for cell phones.

This game takes place in the same world as Lost Magic and you play a fresh magic school graduate on a quest to become a wizard. While there are an increasing number of phones with touch screens, Lost Magic: Concerto for the Fallen doesn’t have a rune drawing system. Battles are in real time and players select spells by pressing numeric keys to draw runes.

Lost Magic: Concerto for the Fallen also has a community feature where users can read news, trade items, and exchange familiars.

Taito is also releasing the game for free, but data fees may apply depending on your carrier.

I’m still waiting for Takt of Magic to make it over.

aww that’s too bad, I wanted a DS sequel, maybe they will port it eventually. I’m happy that at least Takt of Magic is a non-phone game.
