Sony Promotes PS3 With Final Fantasy XIII Cosplay

As a summer promo, Sony shot a series of PlayStation shorts in Hong Kong. Theresa, a local pop star, was recruited as a host and in this clip she’s dressed up like Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII.

    The way Sony HK markets their consoles and games is a little strange — i’m all up for attractive girls singing and posing in bikinis but that won’t necessarily make me want to buy their products, heh.

    I agree, this model is cute, but c’mon, only desperate teens and sleazy guys would be stupid enough to buy something based up a slick marketing gimmick right?

    Forget it, most men (teens) are simply desperate lol.

    I feel like I’m watching the intro to an Emmanuelle film.

    Thing is, if she were fierce looking and did so cool fighting moves I might have thought ‘woah, that’s cool’ but she seems like the type to spend her time raising charity money for underprivileged chocobos.

      Yeah, she’s extremely cute w/ her orange PSP, but it’s striking to see such a feminine Lightning :)

        Yeah, she looks more like the version of lightning that will be in the future doujinshi’s…….who will more than likely be molested by the robots in the trailer.

    I never bother watching these videos on the HK PS store either, they seem a little weird and serve more promoting the girls.. I guess using celebrities grab attention, Nintendo constantly uses singers/actors in the commercials playing the DS and it’s annoying sometimes. Also hot young teen supermodels seem to be all the craze in HK recently, like Angelababy who was at the Xbox event.

    The dude in the video looks like Kojima or something…
