Afrika’s journey to North America is about to end. Natsume announced they will release the virtual safari game on October 6. Players can interact with over 70 animals and complete 100+ missions by taking pictures of them.

We first saw Afrika at E3 over three years ago. Sony published the game in Japan, released an Asian version with an English translation, but passed on distributing Afrika in North America. Natsume picked it up, partially thanks to Finny the Fish, and Afrika will be their first PlayStation 3 game.

The North American version includes trophies and at $49.99, Afrika is a bit cheaper than the average PlayStation 3 game.

Glad to see it coming instead of getting canceled. I was worried of not hearing about it for awhile.

This is a day one purchase for me. I imported Aquanauts Holiday a while back and was going to pick up Afrika as well, but the rumors that it was being localized kept me from doing so.

Ugh, too many games coming out next month. Way too many. I want this badly.
