Let’s Tap On The iPhone

Let’s Tap On The iPhone Prope’s quirky tapping game is now on the iPhone. Well, part of it. Let’s Tap is being released in five pieces. Let’s Tap: Tap Runner, arguably the best game in Let’s Tap, is available now.

The iPhone version has three control schemes. Tap style is like the Wii release, players put their iPhone on a box and tap. Free style is designed for on the go play. In this mode you tap the side of the phone. Touch style has players tap or touch the screen. Prope added a touch sensitivity gradient where the left side of the screen is for light taps and the right is for firm taps.

The downside about the iPhone version is it doesn’t have multiplayer and Let’s Tap is really designed as a party game.

Prope’s plan is to release one Let’s Tap mini-game a week from now until October 16. The total price for all of the games is $16.95. Here’s the schedule.

Let’s Tap: Tap Runner – $3.99 (available now)
Let’s Tap: Gem Game – $0.99 (Sept. 25)
Let’s Tap: Bubble Voyager – $3.99 (Oct. 2)
Let’s Tap: Silent Blocks – $3.99 (Oct. 9)
Let’s Tap: Rhythm Tap – $3.99 (Oct. 16)

Prope should really release the games piecemeal on WiiWare too. They'd probably do way better as individual 500 point downloads than they did as a $29 disc.
