Square Enix’s Sliding Heroes Revealed Remember that Sliding Heroes trademark we discovered? Sadly, it’s not for a Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime sequel.

 

On the other hand, Sliding Heroes sounds innovative! As explained on the game’s Facebook page, Sliding Heroes is a real time strategy game with tilt control. Players tilt their iPhone to make units (warriors, clerics, and mages) battle monsters and scale traps.

The low-res 3D style is quite charming too.

 

Sliding Heroes seems like the kind of game Square Enix could port to Wii and the PlayStation 3 since both systems have tilt control.

    I'd still rather have a Rocket Slime sequel :P

    (Speaking of which, it sold decently, so I am somewhat surprised there's been no follow-up.)

    Me too, I loved Rocket Slime.

    The idea on this game seems interesting, but I don't really like games on my phone. If, for some reason, it received a PSN release I'd probably be all over it.

    The chances of it receiving a PSN release seem pretty high, considered all of the platforms Crystal Defenders was released on.
