Sounds like you're talking about MGS: Snake was an awesome soldier, but he wasn't invincible. Spartans are a little bit of both.

I know. I was just surprised to see that the Spartan didn´t fly of into the sky to deliver a drop kick...

That was the feeling I got.

I just wonder how this will turn out. Starting to get sleepy as well so my mind is getting a bit nonfunctional.

they are the best genetics had to offer at the time, trained from the age of 6 and later enhanced by technology in their bodies.

superhuman? definitely! able to go one on one with a brute like in the toon? can't be sure..it hasn't really happened yet that i know of. spartans are almost even matches with elites and one has even danced with hunters. so we'll see since is is all official lore.

Thanks Japan for ruining Halo, why may you ask?

people acting corny: check (ex: the lunch scene where the guy tries to run over like a 5yr old kid)
take a shooter game and let everybody fight as hand combat with no guns: check

I don't know if it's some wierd no violence thing, but yet he bunches a character in the eye and blood comes out, but he can't shoot somebody with a laser?

If that's the case, sounds arse backwards to me.

Other than that. Why the super human? I thought Spartans were awesome soldiers, not super humans that could fight anyone barehanded.

As for probability of watching it when it is released? 50/50 with this.

So this would be like Batman Gotham Knight composed of several shorts done by different studios right? That was interesting but kind of a weird Jpn take on Batman (in several styles..)

So this will be shown on cable and sold/rented on Live marketplace first before being released on DVD/Blu-ray? When will this come out? Never played Halo, but I'm interested in learning about its universe.
