fightingsHudson is releasing their port of Street Fighter – the original one on Virtual Console this month.

Fighting Street, which was originally released on the TurboGrafx CD, is one of four Virtual Console games coming out in Japan in October. Good for a nostalgia trip, but Fighting Street is barebones compared to everything else out there. Japanese Wii owners can get it for 800 Wii Points ($8).

  • Man, I remember being a little kid and playing that in the Arcade: “Psycho Fire! Psycho Fire!” Hahaha. Too good. To bad it’s not worth the price tag, but Fire Emblem, on the other hand…Nice.

  • That is way too much to pay for the original Street Fighter. That game does not hold up at all.

I actually borrowed my friend’s PC-Engine CD-Rom and this was like the best game on it (think I was in 4th grade..), I vaguely remember the train track and a guy doing shoryuken.

    • ‘You’ve got a lot to learn before you beat me!
Try again, kiddo! HEH HEH HEH!’
