Armored Core 3 Portable Landing In North America

The strange thing is From Software is publishing Armored Core 3 Portable here and they don’t have an office in the States. Agetec, 505 Games, and Ubisoft license and distribute From Software’s games overseas.

But, the ESRB, which leaked Armored Core 3 Portable’s international release, pegged From Software as the publisher. Perhaps, this game will only be available as a download  like Shadow Assault: Tenchu, the only other game in the ESRB database with From Software listed as the publisher.

From Software has a lineup of PlayStation 2 to PSP ports including Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven Portable, Armored Core: Last Raven Portable, and the Japan-only Fu-un Shinsengumi Bakumatsuden Portable. None of the other games have been listed for an international release, but if From Software found a way to release Armored Core 3 Portable domestically chances seem pretty good we’ll see their entire PS2 port lineup.
