I picked up my copy of Magna Carta 2 from Gamestop on Friday (they got it in early) and have been playing it over the weekend, it turned out to be much more fun than I expected, fun combat system, nice story, music, & voice acting. Comes w/ the well rounded artbook too :)

I also have the Jpn copy (would really like to hear the Jpn voice acting), too bad I don't have a Jpn 360 anymore. The MS repair seems to be done now, but the system has a different serial number, I really hope they didn't just send me a regular US console as a replacement.. otherwise I wouldn't be picking up a system in a while (at least not until the 250Gb HDD Is available).

Probably just Half-Minute Hero, if anything. I want to get Brutal Legend but I've got such a backlog of stuff now that I need to finish that picking up another long game would just be silly at this point.

BRB, need to finish level 1 of Demon's Souls.

IIDX is done on the PS2, huh? I never thought I'd see the day. Maybe I'll pony up for this one!

when i tried to get my jp console fixed (3 red lights) by the US repair center, they took the serial number, and immediately recognized it as a japanese console. they then refused to accept it for repair. i even told them that i would happily pay for the repairs, that the warranty was not an issue to me. i tried on 3 separate occasions, and each time, i had the same response.

I was really worried about that too and when I saw the 3 red lights I thought it spelled doom. The MS website recognized my serial number as a Jpn console right away but accepted the repair request fine (w/ e-mails for return shipping labels to their Texas repair center). Before I entered all the info, I first called up this service rep and he said it's still under warranty and perfectly okay to send back free of chare, but there’s no guarantee I would be getting a Jpn console back and a high chance of getting an US one as replacement.

I wrote a note telling them to fix my actual system if possible instead of sending a replacement, but this replacement has a different serial number now.. I’m hoping it’s a Jpn one, otherwise I have no use for it and would most likely sell it to Gamestop for $70, and wait a while to see if they would have a 360 slim or just a Natal bundle w/ the 250gb HDD.

EDIT: Forgot one very important domestic release that apparently slipped under the radar: A Boy and His Blob!
