I actually think the exercise bike is a decent idea. But the game that comes with it really annoys me, the hypocrisy of "green" themed video games.

"clean up the planet while pedaling through eighteen courses in the game’s story mode"

You're sitting inside playing a video game. You're doing the opposite of "cleaning up the planet". You're burning up electricity needlessly.

Personally, I have no problem with the latter. But games like that try to make people feel good about being "green", all the same time while simply doing the opposite. Like how all the global warming people get a free pass for flying in private jets and owning mansions.

If you truly believe in something, you should live it, not just pay lip service to it.

And then use the dumbbells to whack the calories off your opponent! I'd love to see this used in a Twisted Metal game myself.

I have a huge exercise bike in my room that I use when I watch movies. Not being a movie guy I don't get much use off it, but this I can use!

Hmm an excercise bike if they could implement some amazing games with it. It will sale hmmm would be nice to have Road Rash with bicycles awesome.

Yeah, Nintendo loves this kind of stuff. But I still don't get the point of exercise games. Why use a game to work out?

This exercise bike reminds me of that SNES exercise game that Nintendo Power gave away way back in the day.

Gotta hand it to Nintendo and their Wii fit. They have certainly reached out to a new demographic.
