Holy UMD Release, Badman

image Acquire and NIS America’s quirky dungeon management game, Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman!, may make it to UMD.

That’s if 1,000 people pre-order a physical copy at Rosenqueen. Badman was originally going to be a retail release in North America, but after a successful downloadable demo NIS America opted to go PSN only.

Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman on a UMD disc will cost $19.99, the same price as the digital version, which is $10 less than the original retail price.

Yay, put in my preorder for this the other day. But I don’t really like the way their going about this, preordering something when they might cancel it later… like the first time when they canceled preorders all over the place.

They’re talking about trying to drum up retail interest, but didn’t they already have at least some of that the first time around? There was at least several online stores it could be ordered on months ago. Wonder how many people aren’t going to see posts like this and not even know the game is getting a umd release since there’s quite a few people out there who don’t often visit rosenqueen.

  • This isn’t the easiest way going about this but it’s still better than no UMD. Consider this pre-ordered tonight. Thanks, Spencer, for holding our hands through this Digital media to UMD release for Badman. I don’t check around for things like this all too often anymore (too many company websites ;P), so it’s great when I hear about this stuff.
