Aside from working on the US versions of Riz-Zoawd (aka The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road) and Dragonball: Revenge of King Piccolo we haven’t heard about any new Media.Vision projects.

A job listing on their site reveals the Tokyo based publisher is moving into the iPhone area. Media.Vision is looking for a contract or part-time iPhone programmer. Applicants should have experience with iPhone development and understand an object oriented programming language. Possibly related is a game planner job offer where a new hire will work on a new project.

Aside from Wild ARMs, Media.Vision developed Gunners Heaven, which plays a lot like Gunstar Heroes, and more recently Enkaku Sousa, a PSP visual novel where you help free a wrongly imprisoned chap before twenty three days lapse.

God, f*ck the iphone and those piece of sh*t games. I hate apples idea of “gaming” and trying to shoehorn their way into the industry, touting their fart apps as gaming software.

Wild Arms 6 on the PS3 would be cool

I have to echo sentiment with the other comments. I’d love to see another entry in the Wild Arms franchise… and the eradication of useless iphone games.

Media.Vision working on any platform is welcome in my book. I’m now going through Wild Arms 4 and from there its on to 5. If they want to branch out with their franchise it’s fine. They can put some strategy type rpgs(like Crossfire/XF) and such while leaving the 3D fare to the consoles. Which I’m guessing might be the way they might go.
Here’s hoping whatever they bring, the fans of iPhone gaming embrace.
