It’s A Bird, It’s A Plane, It’s Final Fantasy XIII Bahamut! Bahamut, like every other Final Fantasy XIII eidolon, transforms in gestalt mode. A plain old dragon seems appropriate. Mecha Bahamut would be an OK too. If Mecha Godzilla exists why not Mecha Bahamut?

 

That’s probably too logical.

 

So, when Bahamut switches gears into driving mode it turns into a flying dragon (that looks more like a flying beetle to me) that Yun Fang can ride.

    Looks pretty cool to me, a sexy lady on a ride. Fang's clothes color palette reminds me a little of Rinoa's, and here w/ the “wings” of Bahamut to match.. At first glance I thought it looked like a terradactyl w/ the thing at the front instead of beetle prongs. It's funny both games (Mushihime-sama Futari and this) I'm going to play would have beetles then :)

    I wish the claws were white or more matching of the rest of the colors. The orange really clashes with it.

    I thought of Mushihime-sama Futari (hence the beetle joke), but didn't make the Rinoa connection. Now I can't unsee it!

    Kind of freaky, when I first saw her I noticed a resemblance in her design between Rinoa AND Yuna, but more gunner Yuna due to the drapery Fang's got going on down there.

    Ah, at first, those mandibles looked like its front-right leg, and a weapon being held by the rider. But I'm also now picturing the black Voltron lion.

    Think it's on the other side where the pic cuts off? Unless they're going for that one winged angel thing flying in circles (god I hate Gackt/Genesis..)
