Marvelous And Xseed Partner For Valhalla Knights 2: Battle Stance

imageXseed and Marvelous are still working together. As a case in point, take Valhalla Knights 2: Battle Stance, a retooled re-release of Valhalla Knights 2 for the PSP.

Valhalla Knights 2: Battle Stance hasn’t been officially announced for North America, but the ESRB rated it with Xseed as the publisher. Seems like a good sign the game is coming out here, perhaps as a digital release like Armored Core 3 Portable.

Xseed localized and released Valhalla Knights 2 one year ago. K2 finished work on Battle Stance this past June. Changes include reducing the number of party members from six to four, adding teleport points for easier travel, and boosting the Nameless Tower to 50 floors.

Nah, they only gank XSEED’s highly-anticipated, critically-acclaimed titles.

These games aren’t too good… i’m surprised they’re still pumping them out. I guess the measly sales they’re getting are enough for them to keep the series going.

I have to say the Wii version is pretty fun though, muddy graphics and gameplay aside. It reminds me of the early PS2 and Dreamcast games… nostalgia woo!

I actually enjoyed VK2, and from what I understand this fixes the problems in it. One of which happened to be no warping. Running through 10 zones to do a quest was annoying. Now you don’t have to do that. Not to mention dropping party size down to 4 makes it a bit harder and requires you to actually do things other than sit back and watch your party kill everything.
