Monster Hunter Spinoff Takes Place In Felyne Village

Capcom is making a new Monster Hunter game for PSP, but it’s not a sequel Monster Hunter Portable 2G.

Famitsu reports from the Monster Hunter fiesta finals that MonHun Nikki Poka Poka Airu Mura (Monster Hunter Journal Poka Poka Felyne Village) is in development for the PSP. Famitsu notes this game will be a spinoff.

No other details were announced so we’re left to speculate if this will be a spinoff starring Monster Hunter’s felyne friends or a pet simulation.

Man, I hated how my felyne kept throwing bombs at me. Raising his fondness did nothing for that.
