Choose Your Crystal Bearers Pre-Order Bonus

Square Enix has a trio of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers pre-order incentives to choose from. Grab the game at Gamestop and save $5. Reserve The Crystal Bearers up at Best Buy for a soundtrack sampler. Purchase it at Amazon and you’ll receive a 2010 calendar as a gift.

Right now, Amazon is selling Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers for $44.99 so you can get Gamestop’s “bonus” and the calendar there.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers is scheduled to come out here on December 26.

Whee! Thanks for the heads up. I’m gettin’ the calendar. ^^

  • Advent_Andaryu

I would like the calender also! For some reason collecting game related calenders is a hobby of mine. Can’t wait to play!

  • ElTopo

    Is this…is this game good?

Alrdy had it pre-ordered from Amazon when I saw the discount and and pre-order bonus calendar too, seems too good to pass up (unless they offer yet another buy 2 get 3rd free later lol…). For those who are getting New Super Mario Wii or Assassin’s Creed 2, you get $10 off for future game purchase as well, so you could save some more if you plan to get these 2 games from Amazon.

I would go with the Amazon, spend 80$ on select games and receive 40$ credit instead.

      • Aoshi00

But if you buy 3 new games from Amazon ($56.99 x 3 – $40 = ~$130), it’s pretty much the same deal w/ Buy 2 get 1 one free ($59.99 x 2 + tax = ~$130). But w/ Amazon it’s more flexible since you could wait to use the $40 credit on another new game in the future, wish I would’ve known this earlier. But they always come up w/ something better as soon as you take advantage of a good deal. We’re cheapass gamers indeed…

  • Clearly the calendar is the better bonus. Especially since we’re ALL about to take down our Persona 4 calendar ;)

I so regret not getting the Teddy plush and calendar, because of that stupid T-shirt..

      • Oh right, there was a tshirt in there. I think mine’s still in its original plastic packaging. I’m not into wearing night gowns!

Gah! Multiple pre-order bonuses from multiple retailers?
This is why I hate store exclusives.
Square-Enix are trying to make go broke! I love having game soundtracks, but I hate Best Buy.
I suppose I’ll pre-order from Amazon and Best Buy, and then once my soundtrack is safely in hand, I’ll just return the game. =/

    • Dude, its just a soundtrack sampler. Probably around 10-20 tracks only. I think I’ll pre-order this from Amazon as well.

    • Aoshi00

haha, that’s what I did w/ Crisis Core, I got it on Amazon for the Shinra UMD case, then bought the metallic-looking cover from Best Buy and did a switch. Ironically, the regular cover (blue sky w/ white feather) has a better contrast and just looks better than the Best Buy exclusive greyish metallic cover.. so I ended up buying the regular edition again for keepsake when it dropped to $19.99, so now I got 3 copies of Crisis Core (Jpn, regular US, Best Buy US)… I think the calendar here is the winner though, I don’t care much about soundtrack w/ only a handful of tracks (unless it’s a very robust one).

  • Why december!? darn i twant the calendar but the game would reach me like april if i pre order it, if im lucky -.-, the games that would come to my country wouldnt surely have calendar (and would be reaaaally overpriced) great.. in the world of games is a great “advantage” to live outside usa
