Along with announcing a name change, Xseed gave us a small update about Fragile, now known as Fragile Dreams: Farwell Ruins of the Moon.

Tri-Crescendo’s work takes place in a post apocalyptic world focusing on a lonely boy named Seto. Armed with everyday objects like a flashlight and a hatchet, Seto sets out to search for survivors.

Fragile Dreams was released in Japan in January of this year. Xseed will bring the Wii game here in “early 2010.” Probably before March, that’s when Rising Star plans to publish Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon in Europe.

    Do want!

I did not like Eternal Sonata very much, but I’m cautiously optimistic about Fragile. And I love the look.

This is a first-day purchase for me, simply because I’m a sucker for good art direction.

Looks as beautiful as ever. :)

Very pretty. The texture and colors actually reminds me of Fraggle Rock. I always think of that show when this game is always brought up. Hopefully the game will break the curse.

Fingers crossed for Japanese voices option. I fear dubs will ruin the atmosphere, unless they are phenomenal.

Totally, they better keep the Japanese voices! If not, I hope someone undubs the game.

I’m pretty sure they already confirmed a while ago that the game would be dual language.

I believe they cfm’ed dual audio as well. The Jpn dub was really good (Kuwashima Houko, Claire in Claymore / Sango in Inuyasha, as Seto). But I’m curious about the English dub too and I hope they would do a good job w/ it, I want to be moved by the beautiful dialogue playing it in English as well.

I’d just like to mention that the pic for the last 3 posts counting this one are all similar. All have a pic of a person illuminated by a blue light.

    Just sayin’.

I love the modified title and the English translation (Eek!). argh, I need to find the time to finish this game before it gets here, I’m at the abandoned mansion (the bottom right screenshot), and still have maybe a couple of hrs to go. As much as I found fault w/ the gameplay, the art direction is really top notch and should be something to experience.

Ah, the sunset screenshot brings a tear to my eye :(.. That particular section was beautiful, in more than one way.

I’m just happy that XSeed is still publishing it. I hope Ignition never gets their horrible hands on another game I am looking forward to.

    Day 1.

I’ve been excited about this game since it was first announced in Japan. I heard the gameplay’s not very impressive, but it’s really the story and art direction that I’m digging. I love Xseed.
