Why does my mind jump to the idea of a surprise early release?

Even though I should have learned by now I always have huge expectations when they tease these announcements. Ahhh, disappointment :).

hm.. it is Friday the 13th I haven't thought of that, fitting for the 13th installment. I'm going to get stoned for this, but I actually don't want the US ver to be out so soon to give me some breather. I hope they would announce a LE for the US game or something like Gamestop's metal case for XII. Arldy ordered meself the FFXIII soundtrack, I know Hamauzu is going to blow my mind.

Hell, wouldn't it be something if it released day and date with the Japanese version?
