This Toshinden Trailer Focuses On Voice Acting

By Spencer . November 9, 2009 . 10:50am

Tomy’s take on Toshinden is heavy on voiceovers. The game’s story mode is completely voiced. There’s also a collection of sound bytes to play with and if you reserve the game you also get a sound drama.

Aside from the chatter, this trailer shows some more transforming fighting action. Toshinden comes out in Japan on December 10. Tomy has yet to confirm an international release, but if they pick it up it looks like they will have a lot of dubbing work on their hands.

Its weird for Sony to not have the Toshinden title. When PS1 marketing launch came out in 1995, Sonia was practically their official mascot.

  • They’re definitely selling their high profile voice actor lineup. Fully voiced story, voice collection, bonus sound dramas/dvds – yep.

Gotta admit I wasn’t the least interested in this game after the last trailer, but seeing that the battles are more complex, the different modes and the top class cast, it may be a worthy import.
