Ultrahand Is Japan’s First Club Nintendo WiiWare Exclusive

image Nintendo sprung a surprise on Club Nintendo members. A WiiWare game called Ultrahand is available now for 50 Club Nintendo points. When you trade points, obtained from purchasing Wii and Nintendo DS game, the Club Nintendo site gives you a code which you can use to download the game.

In Ultrahand players pretend they are holding a stretchable toy and use it to grab as much grilled meat as they can in 90 seconds. Create a combo and you can increase the grill’s firepower to cook even faster. Ultrahand also has a two player mode where you can steal meat from a friend and add it to your tray. Whoever gets the most grilled meat wins!

Here’s the 1966 toy Ultrahand is based on. It originally retailed for 600 yen.

  • That's neat. N.A. had "Doc's Punch Out" for Platinum members, but the point trading system seems more fair. Hope to see Club N have more stuff like this in the future.
  • @retronauts points out that the toy was created by Gunpei Yokoi
  • SHATTER HAND would have been 10000000000 times more awesome.
