Tsumuji, EA Japan’s Touch Screen Ninja Adventure, Launches In February

image EA Japan has been quietly working on Shonen Kininden Tsumuji, a new intellectual property starring a young ninja in training. Players guide Tsumuji with the stylus as he fights to save his village.

Tsumuji is fittingly described as a touch pen adventure game. As seen in the trailer, you draw a path for Tsumuji’s shuriken just like The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass. Actually, Shonen Kininden Tsumuji shares a lot in common with Zelda, which makes me wonder why Electronic Arts hasn’t said anything about an international release. Perhaps, Xseed will pick it up just like Populous DS.

Shonen Kininden Tsumuji comes out in Japan on February 25. Watch a trailer at the official site.

I would give it a go if it comes over. Love the art style as well.

  • looks nice, reminds me of zelda’s (DS) graphics

yeah same here, so not only are the mechanics the same as Phantom Hourglass, but also the aesthetics.

  • This makes me think of Kiko, Boy Ninja/Ninja Boy Sasuke. I really want to get this game. The art looked interested, also.

Looks awesome. Do we know who the actual developer is yet, EA Japan doesn’t actually have a game R&D team iirc and they subcontract (Aki/Syn Sophia for Sim City DS1-2, genki for Populous DS, etc)?
